Tn September 2006 Wong Fu Productions teamed up with Magnetic North, a talented and rising Asian American hip hop group, to create a music video for their single "Drift Away"
While the rap duo was in Northern California, and the Wong Fu boys were down in the South, much planning and preparations had to be made long distance. In one trip up north, the video was shot in two intense shooting days around the San Francisco Bay Area. The Mission district, Berkeley, and Fremont were all locations for the video. For Wong Fu Productions, this video is also important because it is the first video they have made for an artist. Moving forward past lip syncing existing songs, Wong Fu Productions hopes to continue creating videos for music artists and groups.
